Why We have a Black President, and Black Voter Participation, But No Political Power

It disturbs me that nearly two decades into the 21st century, so many of us believe that having a Black president, or thousands of Black elected officials, translates to actual Black political power. This article will briefly address that misunderstanding. Famous figures like Karl Marx, Michel Foucault, Ho Chi Minh, Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X theorized on about political power.
